When you enroll in SMS reminders, we may collect:
- Your name and mobile phone number.
- Your SMS consent status and notification preferences.
- Phone-verification, message-delivery, and opt-out activity.
- Information needed to connect reminders with services assigned to your Ohana account.
How we use mobile information
We use this information to verify your phone number, send requested pet-care service reminders and account notifications, process opt-in or opt-out requests, prevent abuse, and maintain the reliability of the messaging program.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to your scheduled services and selected reminder preferences. Message and data rates may apply. SMS reminders are optional, and you may disable them in your Ohana settings or reply STOP at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
Mobile information sharing
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or transferred.
Service providers
We may use service providers, including telecommunications and messaging providers, solely to verify phone numbers and operate the requested messaging service. These providers are not authorized to use your mobile information for their own marketing purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Retention and security
We retain mobile information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our systems. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect this information.
Your choices
You may change reminder timing, disable SMS reminders, or withdraw consent through your Ohana account settings. You can also reply STOP to opt out. Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from using the Ohana application or receiving communications through other available channels.
